Running it well
How to organise client sites in one account
One account holding many sites is convenient, and it also means one mistake can touch several clients. A little structure avoids most problems.
Give every client site its own domain entry, its own database and its own email accounts, and keep a simple record of which is which. Name databases and folders after the client, so you can find them months later without guessing.
Keep a staging copy of anything important. Make changes there first, check them, then copy them across. If a client site is business critical, take your own backup before each major update, in addition to the weekly remote backups.
